Memories and Condolences

On an online obituary, people speak of him lovingly.

One of the first jobs I had was picking up glad bulbs on those LONG rows along 15 Mile Road. Bill always had a smile and will be missed by friends and neighbors.

I worked for and with Bill and Phyllis as a teenager. I learned a good work ethic and how to have fun while working hard. I have many find memories of those days. RIP Bill.

I had the privilege of knowing Bill not only through church but I was blessed to be his nurse and care for him at St Mary´s Hospital many years ago. We shared a laugh or 2 over that.

I grew up with his kids. We lived on 15 Mile Rd. and he'd be inside at the kitchen table taking a break after working with the gladiolas or later on his trailer park. Of course, Mrs. Snip made a snack and I had to get in the middle of that. He always called me "Shirl" and the only one to do so. Always nice to me.
